Course Format & Duration

Entry Requirements
An individual undertaking this course will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
1. As a registered training organisation (RTO), delivering nationally recognised training, we must verify a student's identity before undertaking the assessment. To meet this requirement, you will be required to show your photo identification to the camera and state your full name, as listed on your identification document.
2. Students are required to have the verbal and written English language skills to complete the scenarios and forms
3. Students must have access to a device with camera and audio recording capabilities, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a webcam. This device will be necessary for creating short videos as part of the assessment, in which students verbally explain the required assessment outcomes.
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete the written and practical assessment tasks detailed below.
1) Practical assessment:
Students are required to upload three (3) videos of themselves participating in the provided simulated scenarios relating to patient handover and communication of information
2) Documentation:
Patient handover form based on the simulated scenario
3) Theory assessment:
A written assessment consisting of case studies and multiple-choice questions
